Chertsey Town Procession

The Town Procession dates back to 1986 and is now a much-loved part of the Black Cherry Fair. Thousands of people line the streets to support the procession.

COME AND JOIN US THIS YEAR

The procession starts at 10.30 am from Free Prae Road and turns left into London Street towards the Town Centre. It then turns left again into Heriot Road past Sainsbury's to the bottom of Guiildford Street . From here the procession marches up Guildford Street, left past St. Peter's Church and on to Abbey Fields.

WHY NOT TAKE PART?

Anyone can join the procession. It's free to enter and there are lots of prizes to be won. This year our theme is 'WORLD OF DISNEY'. You can walk or ride. All participants must be able to keep pace with Egham Town Band and vehicles need proof of 3rd party insurance. The parade forms from 08.30am on Free Prae Road ( please enter from Eastworth Road end) and judging takes place at 09.30am so don't be late!!
